Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering / Management experience
Experience implementing and/or successfully maintaining ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and certifications required
Experience participating in external audits required
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Manufacturing Process tools/methodologies, including Process Change Assessment, Risk Management (Hazard Analysis), Process FMEA, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Process Capability, Process Control, Process Qualification, Design of Experiments, Gauge R&R, and Inspection/Test Method Validation
Well-versed in Quality tools such as Lean manufacturing, TPE, Mistake proofing, Kaizen, and 5-S
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to resolve issues quickly and recommend preventive solutions
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Strong computer skills; skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab, Smartsheet
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Challenges established methods and ideas to stimulate progressive results
Define, develop and recommend quality procedures and specifications, testing, and inspection methods in alignment with customer and certification requirements
Assists all teams with technical questions or concerns
Ensures the Quality Management System is proactively managed to meet and exceed certification standards through continuous monitoring of performance against Quality systems and guideline
Works with all functional areas to improve safety, reduce scrap, minimize cost, maximize productivity, achieve organizational objectives, and ensure continual improvements in meeting customer requireme
Handles the investigation of operational issues by gathering / evaluating data and the development of recommended solutions
Collaborates on the design and layout of equipment, materials, and workspaces to maximize efficiency and utilization
Provides assistance with plant level projects to ensure deliverables are met
Inspection of raw, in-process (WIP) and finished goods inventory parts to determine if they meet customer specifications
