Working for the Manitowoc County Highway Department, this position:
Performs road maintenance and snow removal, and maintains right of way.
Maintains highway right-of-ways; mows grass, cuts trees and brush, repairs washouts, sprays weeds, and picks up trash.
Operates snow removal equipment.
Performs maintenance duties i.
e.
, erects snow fences, shovels bridges patches pot holes, fills cracks, repairs and replaces guard railings, posts, bridges, and markers
A high school diploma or any combination of education and work experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
A Commercial Driver's License is required, but we will assist the right candidate in obtaining this CDL certification.
