Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Hybrid at Kohler Energy, WI Opportunity As the Property & Facilities Director, you will support all aspects of our real estate portfolio and facilities management within the Operations & Supply Chain organization.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of our facilities while maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable environment for our employees.
Specific Responsibilities Develops and implements a comprehensive global real estate strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
Manages lease negotiations, acquisitions, and disposals of properties, ensuring favorable terms and cost-effectiveness.
Evaluates and recommends real estate investments and opportunities to optimize the company's asset portfolio.
Oversees the maintenance, repair, and renovation of company facilities to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and repair costs.
Manages third-party service providers, including cleaning, security, and landscaping, to maintain high-quality facility services.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property and facility management.
Drives sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and eco-friendly practices in facility operations.
Develops and manages the departmental budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Implements cost-effective strategies to maximize the value of property and facility assets.
Develops and maintains emergency response plans to ensure the safety and security of employees and assets in the event of natural disasters, security incidents, or other emergencies.
Skills/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in operations and supply chain, business, or other related field required, with a preference towards a master’s degree.
7+ years of experience in property and facilities management, preferably within a large, global manufacturing organization.
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, lease negotiation, and property law.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental regulations.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The salary range for this position is $151,900 - $196,550.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
