Opportunity
As a Corporate Lawyer, you will work closely with the legal team to provide strategic legal counsel to our organization, ensuring compliance with international regulations and laws.
You will play a vital role in safeguarding the company's interests and guiding its decision-making processes.
Specific Responsibilities
Advises senior management on corporate governance matters.
Ensures compliance with international regulations and local laws across various jurisdictions where the company operates.
Manages and maintains corporate records and legal documents.
Assists in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Drafts and negotiates agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to corporate transactions.
Provides legal guidance on deal structuring and strategy.
Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a wide range of corporate contracts, including manufacturing agreements, supplier contracts, and distribution agreements.
Ensures compliance with intellectual property rights, licensing, and patents.
Develops and implements compliance programs to mitigate legal risks and ensure adherence to local and international laws.
Stays up to date on changes in legislation and regulations affecting the manufacturing industry.
Represents the company in legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration.
Collaborates with external counsel when necessary and manages legal disputes effectively.
Protects the company's intellectual property assets, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
Advises on intellectual property strategy, licensing, and enforcement.
Ensures adherence to ethical standards and anti-corruption policies.
Conducts training and awareness programs on legal and ethical issues.
Skills/Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction required.
5+ years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer, preferably in a global manufacturing or industrial company.
In-depth knowledge of corporate law, international regulations, and compliance issues.
Proficiency in legal research and document management.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The salary range for this position is $141,450 - $181,850.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
