Opportunity
We are seeking a Litigation & Regulatory Lawyer who is responsible for handling a wide range of legal matters, including litigation, data privacy, employment law, and trade regulations.
This role requires a thorough understanding of legal principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.
Specific Responsibilities
Handles all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court proceedings.
Collaborates with internal teams and external counsel to manage litigation matters effectively.
Develops and executes litigation strategies while ensuring compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
Advises on data protection laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant statutes.
Develops and implements privacy policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to safeguard sensitive information.
Provides legal guidance on employment matters, including employee contracts, terminations, discrimination claims, and HR policies.
Stays up to date on labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization's practices align with legal requirements.
Counsel on international trade laws, tariffs, sanctions, and export/import regulations.
Assists in developing strategies to navigate trade compliance issues and mitigate associated risks.
Skills/Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction required.
5+ years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer, preferably in a global manufacturing or industrial company.
In-depth knowledge of corporate law, international regulations, and compliance issues.
Proficiency in legal research and document management.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The salary range for this position is $141,450 - $181,850.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
