Sales Associate

The Sales Associate will collaborate cross-functionally within the Sales Department, gaining valuable insights and experience to seamlessly transition into an Outside Sales position.
This multifaceted role involves tasks such as handling telephone inquiries, generating quotes, inputting data into CRM software, and providing crucial assistance to sales reps/agents.
The Sales Associate is expected to possess a robust technical aptitude and play an indispensable role in ensuring the Sales Department's long-term success by adhering to standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities: Develop an in-depth understanding of Viking Masek's equipment lineup to effectively communicate the product offerings to potential customers.
Acquire applications knowledge to articulate the benefits of Viking Masek's equipment convincingly.
Create meticulously formatted equipment quotes for customers, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Facilitate vendor communication and provide ancillary equipment quotations to support the sales process.
Act as a cross-functional liaison for sales-related issues, offering support to the sales team in their day-to-day activities.
Handle initial sales calls, gather information, and qualify leads for further follow-up by the sales team.
Conduct sample bag making for sales purposes, showcasing the capabilities of Viking Masek's equipment to customers and prospects.
Support sales prospecting and lead generation efforts to contribute to the expansion of the customer base.
Generate reports on sales activities to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate and organize sales trips in collaboration with the sales team.
Attend weekly sales meetings to stay informed on developments and contribute valuable insights.
Occasionally travel may be required to support customer visits or attend relevant events.
Perform other duties as assigned, actively contributing to the overall success of the Sales Department.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp and understand complex products.
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software or similar tools.
Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
