RESPONSIBILITES
General responsibilities of the Environmental Services Worker include but are not limited to the following:
* Schedule varies Monday through Friday 7am-3pm.
One weekend per month is required and rotating holidays.
* Maintaining assigned resident, public, storage and administrative areas by performing general housekeeping duties including dusting and cleaning surfaces; removing trash and recyclables; cleaning restrooms, glass doors, windows and blinds; performing other duties as assigned
* Maintaining stock of departmental supplies, linen management, inventory distribution, stocking, and collection
* Proper utilization of equipment necessary for general floor maintenance (floor stripper, burnisher, automatic scrubber, full-size and hand-held carpet shampooers)
* Understanding and demonstrating proper use of safety practices
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
* Understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions
* Ability to operate specialized equipment necessary to perform job duties
* Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays
