The Service Coordinator provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and the supervision of front of the house cafe staff.
Manage all guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Assist management with daily administrative tasks.
Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner.
Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels.
Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell.
Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.
Process payment transactions.
Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions.
Coordinate with cafe staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order.
Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
Understands and can communicate products and services available at the resort.
Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.
Train café front of house staff.
Create and execute special projects and assignments.
Perform the responsibilities of Baristas as needed.
This is a Full Time position with shifts on Weekdays & Weekends varying between 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Skills/Requirements
Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.
Must be 18 years old.
3+ years’ experience in restaurant.
Supervisory experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
The hourly pay range for this position is $16.
00 + tips/gratuity .
The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
