*Walters Buildings, *the premier family-owned post fame builder in the Midwest, is hiring an *Plant Coordinator* to join our team in Allenton, Wisconsin! Our Allenton plant produces the steel panels used for the walls, roofs, trim and interiors of our buildings.
The plant also makes or maintains the inventory for all the necessary components needed to assemble our buildings.
This includes lumber, insulation, doors, windows, fasteners, etc.
*Position Summary*
Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Director, the Plant Coordinator coordinates and completes paperwork within our ERP system for all produced requisitions and shipped material orders.
The Coordinator is the liaison between the regional offices and the Allenton manufacturing plant in scheduling deliveries for all invoices.
*Duties/Responsibilities:*

* Acts as the central point of contact for all manufacturing activities.
Must be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, sales, finance, trucking, etc.
).
* Completes daily paperwork within our ERP system for produced, stock and special requisitions and for shipped material orders.
* Performs data entry.
This includes entering material orders into our ERP system.
* Takes and uploads pictures of outgoing loads and also uploads all department pictures taken for jobs.
* Scans and uploads documentation.
This includes job specific paperwork into individual job folder(s); and daily and weekly equipment inspections.
* Efficiently prioritizes and schedules jobs and invoices to the manufacturing area to meet delivery expectations.
* Secures oversize and other permits needed to transport jobs to worksites.
* Schedules loads for transport.
This includes coordinating and scheduling deliveries for all invoices.
* Collaborates with Plant Controller on running inventory reports and checks throughout the month.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
*Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-tasking and prioritize work.
* Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Microsoft office (including use of excel).
* Working knowledge of general office equipment.
*Working Environment and Physical Demands*:
* Perform the majority work in an office setting.
Will need to enter the manufacturing plant to communicate with plant employees.
* Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
*Education and Experience:*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Associates degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business or a similar field preferred.
* 2 – 3 years of customer service, administrative, or office experience.
* General construction knowledge is preferred.
* Proficient computer skills.
* Ability to work with little supervision.
