Accounting Associate

*Job Duties* · Accurately and timely processes raw material and MRO invoices from vendors for payment.
· Contacts vendors and organizations to verify, correct, or acquire information as needed.
· Enters vouchers into the ERP system.
· Process check payments and ACH payment files.
· Review vendor monthly statements and follow up on discrepancies.
· Be a key player in sales and use tax compliance by assisting in categorizing tax on purchases.
· Process freight invoices for inbound raw material shipments to assist cost accounting with accurate costing.
· Collects and organizes information for special projects, reports, and analysis by management.
· Contacts Plastics Engineering Company associates for information or clarification of invoices.
· Assists with general office administrative functions in the event of vacation or illness.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

· Willingness to attend seminars or training as needed.
· Associates Degree in Accounting (a plus but not required), or related experience.
· Three years of related experience.
