*FUNCTION:*
Serve and provide administrative support to the students, teaching staff, community members, parents, school counselor, assistant principal, and principal.
*QUALIFICATIONS:* High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least one year of previous office experience.
Preferred candidates will have a background in or the ability to learn finance.
_*Clerical duties*_ shall include but not limited to: * Serve as primary receptionist for visitor, teacher, vendor, parent, and community member inquiries.
* Manage the office counter where help is being sought.
* Provide primary assistance for answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, directing the inquiry accordingly, providing directions, and assisting teachers and visitors.
* Screen inquiries by directing calls and questions to the appropriate source.
* Provide assistance to District Office administrative assistant as directed.
* Enter courses and schedules into Infinite Campus * Print schedules for staff and students * Print reports as needed by administration * Create and organize teacher folders * Input Data into Infinite Campus * Provide attendance information to the Assistant Principal and Principal * Sort and distribute mail daily.
* Assist with teacher and other office staff requests as needed.
* Perform other duties as necessary.
Arrange Substitute teachers: * Process teacher request forms; review teacher schedules and contact individuals from the substitute list.
* Update sub calendar and substitute list with current subs and those subs not available.
* Provide updated copies of the substitute list to the Assistant Principal and Principal.
* Track sub information for payroll purposes *SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Students who may be in the health room _QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
*REASONING ABILITY:* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but basic written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
*OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:* Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer and related software.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and the community.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
The staff member serves as a positive role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings.
In particular, it is each staff member’s responsibility to help instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
The staff member should be punctual and have regular attendance.
