We are currently seeking a full-time _*Certified Medical Assistant *_in our Sheboygan clinic.
*Who is LCHC?*
LCHC was founded in 2012 and is an independent non-profit organization that maintains 3 clinics located in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and West Bend.
We are a patient-centered medical home (PCMH) that provides preventive medical, behavioral (mental) health care, and dental care.
We believe everyone has a right to quality healthcare, regardless of insurance status or income level.
No patient will be turned away due to the inability to pay for care.
Other services provided by LCHC include School-Based Dental and Mental Health care, Chiropractic Services, and an on-site pharmacy in our Sheboygan & Manitowoc locations.
*Certified Medical Assistant*
The _*Certified Medical Assistant*_ is responsible for performing delegated clinical, clerical, and administrative duties within the supervising physician’s scope of practice consistent with the MA’s education, training, and experience.
Duties will involve assisting the medical providers in the direct provision of primary care medical services to patients of the clinic, and will include performing phlebotomy, obtaining medical histories, supporting patient care, and assisting practitioners during examinations.
*Education & Training Requirements*
* Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program
* Certified as a Medical Assistant or willing to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
* Current CPR/BLS Certification upon hire or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.
18 - $20.
72 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
