Two-year post-secondary education or two-year Administrative Assistant Program or similar training in administrative secretarial courses.

Experience and ability to demonstrate the use of Google applications and Microsoft Office.
Experience using Skyward Financial and Skyward Student program preferred.
3.
Evidence of excellent performance.

Must like and enjoy working with children.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience and ability to demonstrate the production of error-free documents that demonstrate correct grammar and sentence construction, attention to detail, proper layout, proofreading, and editing.

Experience and ability to demonstrate the organization and prioritization of job responsibilities as well as being flexible.
8.
Experience and ability to work independently, be proactive, maintain a high level of confidentiality, make appropriate, timely decisions in the absence of the principal, and solve problems creatively.
9.
Experience and ability to document the distribution of student medication and assist/monitor/document the student health room.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
10.
Experience and ability to manage the daily, weekly, and monthly operations of staff attendance including substitutes/timesheets in Frontline and Skyward.
11.
Ability to maintain daily attendance reports and notifications associated with pupil attendance.
12.
Experience and ability to demonstrate effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, and the community positively.
13.
Knowledge of purchasing, budgeting, and attendance.
This position will involve 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 11 months per year (August 1 through June 30).
The starting rate of pay for this position is $16.
64 per hour.
Manage student and family information including lunch accounts and attendance.
Monitor and restock supplies for staff as needed.
Manage and edit the school website and social media accounts.
Monitor, manage, and reconcile the school’s credit card.
Create correspondence letters, brochures, and newsletters for family/school communications.
Work closely with the Transportation Department to ensure student bussing is coordinated.
Order bus transportation for field trips throughout the school year.
Operate and maintain office equipment (copier, fax machine, etc.
).
Willing to work beyond normal workday when necessary.
Complete Federal, State, and district reports.
Perform other duties as assigned by the building administrator.
